Default NL50 6max: Funky 23s

No good reads from villain. He had played very tight so far, but the table was new, only 20 hands or so.

Party Poker ($0.5 no limit). Hand converted by Check Raised hand converter

SB ($34.29) (SB)
BB ($103.35) (BB)
UTG ($32.35) (UTG)
HERO ($84.93) [ 3 2 ] (BTN)
[seat5] ($28.70) (CO)

Preflop (5 players):
1 fold.
[seat5] calls ($0.50).
HERO calls ($0.50).
SB calls ($0.25).
BB checks.

Flop (4 bets ($2) in pot, 4 players): T 2 3
SB checks.
BB checks.
[seat5] bets $2.00.
HERO raises $7.00.
SB folds.
BB folds.
[seat5] raises $26.20 (all-in).

I have hard time putting him on any hand.

Combo draw/flush draw/tp, easy call.

I also put TT, JJ, and less often QQ in a relative unknown's range for completing SB and playing the flop this way, as well as 33 and 22, although the latter two are obviously more unlikely. I still think it's an easy call.

Begbie -

I think you have to call this. Villian can have A10/K10 or a combo draw alot here. If he hit a set so be it (22/33 are the only possibilites - I think 1010 is raising pre flop in the CO), but you hit your yatzee flop here.

Also, I like to raise this hand OTB if I am going to play it. With only 1 LP limper to me I think this would be a good spot.

SB folded the flop...CO is the one going crazy here.

There's some kind of mental block for me to raise with 23s, even from button. It feels so dirty [img]/images/graemlins/blush.gif[/img]

I also put him on draw/combo draw/tp or set of 22,33 which are unlikely. Also sometimes donks gets tricky with their AA/KK this way, but usually they have even smaller stack then.

Fold preflop.

You don't think this can be a raise pre in this situation? Good amount of dead money in there. Plus you get paid like crazy when you do hit.

I called, he had top set.

And yes, I'm results oriented as usual.
