[ QUOTE ] Why? I'm a Miami Heat fan..thus its my team and we win or lose. [/ QUOTE ] You never even watched a regular season Miami game. They were in national television approximately 20 times. [/ QUOTE ] Of course I've seen a regular season games of Phx/Miami(I gamble, I have cable, and I occasionally have drinks with assistants at sports bars)...I just don't watch them religiously like most people who would consider themselves "real" NBA basketball fans. Thus I don't consider myself a big basketball fan because I only care about my two teams and don't watch all the games except during the playoffs. Plus I can't stand college basketball. |

[ QUOTE ] well given I never saw a regular season Heat game [/ QUOTE ] [/ QUOTE ] Hyperbole : A hyperbole is a type of figurative language. It is often confused with a simile or a metaphor because it often compares two objects. The difference is a hyperbole is an exaggeration. But to be honest I don't think I watched an entire regular season NBA game from start to finish...would usually be flipping between channels/talking with people at the bar/or speeding thru tivo to the 4th quarter |

nation,
Caps lock brah. Charlie, If you can't see the dichotomy between not being a "big basketball fan" and then making 40% of the posts in a very long thread about a team, then I don't know how you made it through Brophy. You're either trolling or have OCD, or both. |

Charlie you got owned. You're not a real fan if you only tune in to your team in the playoffs. [/ QUOTE ] And Arod isn't a real Yankee? In my book both those statements are false. |

I don't think that Game 5 will decide the series. [/ QUOTE ] I disagree. If Dallas wins Game 5, they win the series. Game 5 is still a must win for Miami. I really doubt Miami could go go game 6 down 3-2 and win 2 in Dallas. sticking with original prediction, Heat in 7. |

You're either trolling or have OCD, or both. [/ QUOTE ] Barely made it through Brophy...2.5 GPA and got kicked out once. but my SATs offset thing. OCD/ADD...only sleep 4-5 hours a night. I can use "we" all I like. Sports nerds can call foul given the technicalities/guidelines that I am apparently unaware of regarding one's ability to use "we" in reference to one's team- in relation to the number of games that person has viewed on TV during the regular season. |
