Default Getting donked on river whats your play here?

Besides the obvious preflop error how bad is river line here. Do you think villian is on Ace rag enough to make raising the donk correct? His play in this hand had me stumped. Not sure why other players name didn't convert??

Is he loose enough to play Ax under the gun then call with second pair or worse on the turn?

Probably not, so you should just call the river fearing he has a pair of 5's.

Yes, I think you can raise and call the 3-bet against an unknown. Do you have any reads? I would take notes on what hand he played like this.

well, that makes your preflop overlimp even worse :-), but you knew that.

It's probably pretty close in EV between raising the river and just calling, but I lean towards raising, because you will get paid off by plenty of hands here. Did you consider folding to the 3-bet? I don't think I would have given the stats and lack of hand history.

When I raised the river I planned on calling a 3-bet as I felt he was type to chase a rag ace and overplay a worse two pair. I felt there was a decent chance he limped with a hand like A4 suited, so he called flop with pair and overcard in a place where I would bet a high % of time, then on turn he picked up draw so he called again. I didn't think A5 as I would see a raise earlier and why was 55 calling on flop? He had 55.

Why is 55 calling? Because you are thinking like a good player, and not like most of the donks playing LHE. 80% of the players out there are calling when holding a PP, regardless of their position, even if they are holding 22 or 33. If I had a $1 for every player playing 22 Utg, I would already be retired.

Against villain w these stats I´m calling this 3-bet. Villain has to have AF less than 1,2-1,3 for me to fold this. nh,wp except pf
