Both SNGPT and Bubble Trainer are excellent programs that any serious player should seriously consider purchasing. SNGPT lets you plug in the numbers and makes you understand how several different factors impact decisions. Bubble Trainer gives you the exact situation and tests your knowledge, it keeps you fresh. Both have unique benefits and complement each other, it shouldn't be seen as a rivalry in my opinion.

My opinion is that the danger here, based on the experience of helping hundreds of people use SnGPT and seeing who made progress and who didn't, is that any "training" process that doesn't include as the first and emphasized as a most crucial component an effort at the estimation of your opponents (since this is what is required of you when you play), is missing the forest for the trees. What's worse is that this will go unappreciated most by those who need it most. What a newcomer to ICM wants is always "the answer." Bubble trainer gives the appearance of providing this, and that's the danger. 'Nuff said.

I agree with this 100%. Most people on this forum are looking for a quick fix, and this software superficially appears to hold out such an answer to those who do not understand what it is. I don't think that the author is presenting it as such to make a quick buck, but I think that the software was put together and offered to the 2+2 public without adequate disclaimers or explantions. I don't think that the author was trying to fool anyone, but I do think that he underestimated the knowledge and skills of the average STT poster.

There have already been a ton of posts, in this thread and others, hailing this as the Keys to the Kingdom, if only some one can tell me where I can look up them dang percentage calling ranges to input into the program. Pleeeze. It is obvious from these threads that some even think that this is some kind of a real time, heads up program that will tell you what to do as you play. Again, this has not even been hinted at, but is the result of naive folks leaping to conclusions.

That said, it looks like a useful training tool (kind of like electronic flash cards), as long as the user understands the principle of GIGO: garbage in, garbage out. I will play with it and probably subscribe.

How can this be correct to push?
I don't even push this with 600/1200 blinds

if he calls 1/4 of the time then its razor thin in the positive to steal his blind. plus if he calls you are usually live. thats why its barely positive.

not pushing at 400/800+ is pretty terrible.
