nl50 6max: Calling down trips with K kicker against calling station

I thought about posting 1 hand per session which I think I played most badly... so here we go.

Villain is 67/0/0.9 after ~50 hands.

I felt that I lost value playing this so weak-tight. I thought that his turn minraise was scary because he was calling station, but it could easily be just a plain ace or slowplayed q with worse kicker.

I hate raising from SB with mediocre holdings, but since I'm crushing his limping range, I probably should had.

I don't think calling down against a really passive villain is that bad....he's not raising much. However, even passive villains will usually raise trips. Unless he has Q9 (I think he would have raised AQ preflop) then you have him beat. I think a raise on the river is ok as well, but I really don't think calling is a huge mistake.

Probably a loss, but possible he just has an ace if he is bad.

I certainly will not be re-raising villian in this situation.

ok, so it seems that I didn't play this so bad after all.

I'm going to bed, so I'm posting results already.. villain had AA [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img].

I congratulated myself for not loosing my stack on this hand, but then I thought that I'm just probably results oriented and that like 8/10 times I'm ahead here and should try to get all-in.
