Default Lead out the turn?

CO is a semi-decent player and probably turns a small profit at this game. The only thing I'm really concerned about is AAxx diamonds but I can't put him on that as I think he'd want to push the flop.

Actually my pair of kings held up to scoop against his A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8 7. I was a 70-30 dog on the flop but a 65-35 favourite on the turn, I think.

He played that hand very weak. He should have either led the flop or checkraised it. Even if he thinks you would never only bet a draw there yourself, and especially if he does think that you would, he is coinflipping against a set with no other draws at worst.

If he is aggro at all on the river, I might bet 1/2 pot on the turn and let him smoothcall with a wide-range of hands, but most of the time I just push like you did.
