Memory Leaks worse with Party Upgrade?
I haven't been able to find any other posts on this, so i'm not sure if i'm the first and only person to have this, or i just suck at the search function. I never experienced the memory leaks other people reported previously with Party, mostly due to the fact that i never had the lobby open long enough to experience them.
Now however, since the new upgrade, even when i've just opened Party, even before i've opened any tables or joined any wait lists, my memory usage spikes considerably, and my mouse slows down to a crawl. My system is high spec, with 2 gig of RAM, and yet i still see >60% memory usage with the Party lobby being the only program running. It's bad to the point where Party is literally unusable. Is anybody else getting this? |

Re: Memory Leaks worse with Party Upgrade?
It's definitely worse for me as well.
Weird video stuff like opponent's hole cards staying in front of them sometimes even after they've folded. Mine isn't as bad as yours, I've got a gig of ram but almost no Vmem, I also have a 6800 video card and an Opteron processor which might be helping me. I'm going to try overclocking my video card a little more and see how things go. When Party goes nuts on me my cpu and ram in task manager don't go up at all. =\ |

Re: Memory Leaks worse with Party Upgrade?
I've been experiencing disconnects where several players at the table having them simultaneously.
I have also had lockups when nothing at all happens and I have to re-boot. It has gotten to the point where PP is unplayable. |
