Default re-buys vs. no re-buys

i am somewhat new to poker and was just wondering everyones opinion as to which is better, regular tournaments or re-buy tournaments?
It seems to me that the re-buy tournaments encourage looser play, but at the same time, one can take a bad beat and not be out of the tournament. Anyone got an opinion on which of these is better and why? Thanks

Default Re: re-buys vs. no re-buys

I guess it's individual. I prefer tournaments with no re-buys but that could be becuase I don't really know what a good strategy in re-buy tournaments is.
