I have 2 bank accounts, one for bills, spending money etc, and one for poker, paypal, online purchases etc. I ralrey use the latter, last night i filled up my gas tank, and grabbed the wrong card, usbank shut my card down citing fraud, i got a call at 9am this morning saying to call them immdediately, appearently they thought someone had my card. I guess there si a lot more behind the scenes and analyzing of transactions than I realized. This is also a PSA for tax faudsters, identity thives, shiksters, shucksters and all forms of miscreants.

If someone steals a credit card, a gas station is the first place they go becasue it's about the only place you can check out a card on your own without involving a clerk. So the combination of litte use + charge at the pump = fraud flag.

I had the exact same thing happen to me a couple years ago, and it turned out my card had been stolen.
