Digital Camera Suggestions

I need a digital camera.

This is what I will use it for.

#1 pictures of the new puppies
#2 Pictures of my flower gardens(My not so cheap form of stress management)

I do not think I need something super fancy, I was hoping for something that will do the job for under $200.

Any Suggestions?
