Re: KQs, do I continue? (discounting outs with no reads)

not betting this turn is.... whatever the opposite of spew is. its like someone else spewed on the road and you have scooped it up, put it in a stew and then ate it with a glass of red. [/ QUOTE ] OK OK. You're right. But when check raised, what am I looking for/what is my action on the river? |

I'd check the turn. SB could be trapping. It sucks to get c/red on the turn but I think you have to call unless you know SB is a rock.

im not entirely sure whats +ev. i definitely call ui for sanity.
if the flush hits your decision is probably a bit harder, i think you can raise, but dont cap. |

If we miss the river and are bet into we are getting 10:1 at that point. Is this a call in case villin is getting over agressive with a weaker queen?

if we fold the river and spend the next 100 hands wondering if we were right when we watch the same vil pull stupid play after stupid play is the call +ev?

A river 3-bet is bad news when we hit the flush. Call it, and if he shows down just the naked trips, make a note on that. |

Re: KQs, do I continue? (discounting outs with no reads)
I think normally I would fold, but hero as played/raised 3 of 4 hands since starting this table so maybe someone was taking a shot that he had nothing. Though really I would have expected them to do it on the flop where it would cost less, but who knows. I think I would still fold the river unimproved but be watching future hands to get a better read.

This thread didn't make any sense to me until i read this:
New England at Denver 8:00 CBS Beni, are you so terrified of what the Patriots are gonna do to your Broncos that you're seeing monsters under your poker bed too? |
