Default Anyone know the odds of this?

Had a 6max hand last night where I was dealt two red aces, sure enough the player I was up against had two black aces and we split.

What are the odds of two people at 6max getting dealt aces in the same hand?

I don't think that word means what you think it means.

It usually happens once every 7 hands or so. Online sites just want our rake!!!

Seriously though, if my calculations are correct (thats a longshot ), it is once every 9,024 hands.

10 handed, if you are dealt aces, prob of somone with AA if you already hold AA is 1/136.

this site shows the process of the calc, so you can adjust it to 6max if you want. Then multiply it by odds of getting dealt AA, then multiply new one by 1/221

so for 10 handed, it's:
(1/221) * (1/136)
