It looks like the villian is ready to go all the way on the flop. Why give him a chance to change his mind on the flop?

Not much else to do, no.
You can shove preflop as well, if you like.
At this level I would expect a call from lots of stuff other than AA.
But this is good too.

Most of the time he will have a high pocket pair,
some of the time it will be AA.
(And some of the time it will be a tourney donk with KQs)

Agreed. You have the second best hand possible PF and you have a live one on the line. Why are you getting off the gas?

But then why would I bet the flop... Yeah, all-in preflop seems much better.
