QQ hand I think I should fold

Villain has only been at the table for a few orbits. Seems pretty tight pf. Hasn't done anything out of line.

Villain has 30, I cover.

I have been raising PF often, not out of hand though, but enough that I could see it might annoy some players.

I get QQ in UTG, I make it 2.50, folds to Button who makes it 6.50. I just call.

Flop is 44Jr. What's my play here? Also, any comments on PF action.

I probably push preflop given his stack, but that's how I roll. As played, check, see how much he bets, and then maybe c/r ai or fold, depending on your gut. You only played a few orbits, he might be the typical shortie who reraises KT and J9 preflop.

PF I could've went either way, sometimes I reraise, sometimes I call. With this guy I had a feeling he had a bigger hand.

What about leading out on the flop? Good or bad.

Bad against a short stack PF aggressor, good against a normal stack PF aggressor.

He's going to bet 90% of the time here if you check to him. He's probably going to bet enough as a shortie that he'll have trouble folding to your CRAI.

If you lead, he might lay down an unimproved AK or AQ.

Horrible advice been given. Oh yes I have an overpair so I must put all my money in. If the guy has less than 20 before start of hand it isn't a bad idea, but this screams of AA, KK or JJ. The only hand you beat here is AK or 1010 and most people at this level don't repop preflop you with those hands. I know you have QQ, but you have to think deeper than I have QQ otherwise you lose a lot of money in this situation way to often.

I think you're hand range here is way to narrow. OP said he has been raising alot, so villian could easily be playing back with a much bigger range, 88-AA, A10-AK, even 2 random paint if he's particularly bad. I'm very happy to get my stack in on this flop, if he happens to have one of the 3 out of 11-15 hands that beat me oh well, rebuy!

I just can't seem to see where Pushing is EV+ against the three strikes above. Clue me in please.
