Bump, even though the title is off by one.

I may c/raise the turn AI and try to take it right there. Other than that, the line isn't terrible. However the final pot makes it obvious that he called and you probably lost if he did.

I always like pairs from the SB if I can get in cheap. Very well diguised.

I think if you're going to bluff @ this pot, you need to lead the turn. His flop calling range is something like 55, 77+, any queen that was in his pf range and probably a 7. When you check the turn, you create the problem of not knowing which of those hands he has. If you led for 450, you'll have a much better idea of what villain has and check the river if he calls the turn. If you checkcall the turn, and bet the river that missed flush draws and any 6s, you're going to get picked off quite often. I think this will work sometimes, but just betting the turn is probably a less expensive alternative. I think you very arely fold out a Q.

i'd also go for leading the turn. we've picked up an oesd and i'm guessing villian has a weak Q here pretty often. a stong lead will say i have AQ/KQ go away and fold them out more often then the check-call, bet out on the river line. Seeing how the turn went i do like the stab at the pot, maybe repping a misplayed AK.
AceLuby- a c/r all-in on the turn? i've thought about this a bit and just think wa/wb too much. pot's 700+ his 260 turn bet and you have ~4200 behind? just think it's the move that will work every time but one, but risk/reward isnt there. pretty sure he'll lay down a weak Q there but i'd still like to lead the flop. |

i would bet more preflop to discourage him from calling and being headsup and out of position with a small pair.

I make some sort of move on the turn, either leading the pot or check-raising, perhaps all in. Largely it depends on my read of villain and his likley read of me. I really hate cc-ing this turn if I've lead the flop.

What does everyone think of villain's weird bet size on the turn? Isn't that often an attempt to trick you into thinking he's all in and calling him with a weak hand, which he will then raise on the river?
