This blows. I loved Bodog. I made great money there for the last month and a half I played there.

Now they won't even respond to my email I sent the other day when I couldn't play in the sng I entered because their software kept booting me out.

I just pulled out my money and sent them another email explaining why. For their sake I hope they change before they go under. To much competition for this poor treatment and poor software.

The advance action buttons were not working as of last night and even though I had Auto-muck checked off it still asked me after every hand.

Jeezus, they didn't even fix that? I wrote them about that very issue after beta testing it. Too bad.
RIP Bodog.

At the very least, no love for the QuickSeat? It got me sitting quick and keeps the table full - my biggest problem with Bodog was how quickly a full game fell off.

The new interface is beyond terrible.

Their reply to my e-mails are almost laughable. "We are
certain that as players get comfortable with the new look they will appreciate the innovative features and increased action the new interface offers."

I played for 2-3 hours and wanted to puke. I have withdrawn my money from Bodog and will not go back until things are better.

Things I did not like about the new changes:

1) Multi-tabling is almost impossible. How am I supposed to get reads on players if I can only see 1/3 of the action at any given time? Great, you gave me this freaking "PIP" function. Wonderful. Now I can see the pot size, the amount to call, and how many people are still in the hand. Awesome. Do I know who raised? No. Do I know who reraised? No. Was it a camper that has raised once in the last hour, or a maniac that has raised fifteen out of the last twenty hands? I'll never know because I haven't seen the action on that table because it was in PIP! YOUR OLD INTERFACE WAS GREAT, WHY CHANGE TO THIS CRAP?

2) The color scheme is terrible. I got a headache and stomach ache while playing. I'm serious about that, and I'm not the only one. Staring at blood red for 2-3 hours will do that to you. Give me a softer color to look at. YOUR OLD INTERFACE WAS GREAT, WHY CHANGE TO THIS CRAP?

3) The cards are too small! The cards are in a box, and everyone's box looks the same with OR without cards at first glance! I don't know about anyone else, but it was hard for me to know who was still in a hand or not without actually looking at each individual player. On the old site, it was clear as day who had cards and who didn't...now it's a chore to figure out what you're up against. YOUR OLD INTERFACE WAS GREAT, WHY CHANGE TO THIS CRAP?

4) This is kinda nit-picky, but it goes with #3...There is no table on my screen. The avatars are just floating in air in a circle. Having a table on the screen would dramtically help you in figuring out who has cards. Maybe not because they're so small....either way, it looks like everyone's sitting on red carpet! WTF? YOUR OLD INTERFACE WAS GREAT, WHY CHANGE TO THIS CRAP?

As I've said a few times...the old interface was great. It was quick. The cards were big. It was clear and concise on how to check/bet/fold. You had three screens while multi-tabling, and could look at the lobby all at the same time!

The biggest thing for me is the pain in the arse that they've made multi-tabling. I can sit there without Poker Tracker and study 2-3 tables at a time and get solid reads on every person I'm sitting with. Having these reads definitely increased my profit. Now? I'm only able to see 1/3 of the hands in real-time on a disgusting read background so it makes it tough to look at...

Notice that I haven't mentioned any bugs yet...I could go on and on about them. The interface should NOT have as many bugs as it does, as a lot of this stuff should have been ironed out in the testing phase...But still, I know that new systems will have bugs and I expect that in time they'll be fixed.

Will that draw me back to Bodog? Hell no. The playability of the site will still be [censored].

Okay, I've done the ripping...now the two improvements that I liked:

1) The navigation when I'm not playing seems to flow a little better. This is an awesome improvement, except for the fact that I GO THERE TO PLAY POKER NOT TO CHECK ON MY ACCOUNT.

2) I actually *LOVE* the "what if" function they have, where you can see your cards after you've folded. Maybe some of the fish will see what would have happened had they played Q5o UTG and playe it next time. OMFG I WOULD HAVE HIT A BOAT ON THE FLOP! THAT'S MY HAND! I definitely turned it off, but if random people use it, GREAT!

Overall, though, the new interface sucks. I've withdrawn my money and am not going back unless things change. I've called Bodog three days in a row to talk to Customer Service, to tell them how I feel about their new interface. I've not bitched at anybody, I've just had conversations saying that, "I hope these changes are made. Pass my word along." Then I'll try to pick the brain of whoever I'm talking to and I'll get little bits of information that I already know...."Yeah, a LOT of people are pissed. Yeah, everyone's complainging about the multi-tabling feature and the colors. Yeah, we've been log-jammed with calls from people about how mad they are." Etc, etc.

Things are going to be changed at that site or it will die. It is that simple. They can't live off of the "new blood" that wanders in from the Sportsbook area of their site. They may be making a killing over the first few days of this (even with all of the cash withdrawls going on), but it's because people are interested in the new site...Once those people go away they'll be stuck with a few random people (idiots) that were already there and didn't leave.

My suggestion to everyone here that cares about this....is to make one phone call a week. Hell, make a phone call a day like I'm going to do. Let them know how you feel. Be nice to them, ask them questions, but get your point across that you're not going to take this.

As you can see....I'm pretty pissed about this. This was THE site for me, I loved it. Now it's gone.

Ohh well, there are more fish in the sea.

Any other thoughts?

Great post, and solid ideas about keeping the pressure on Bodog in a nice fashion to change things back.

I thought I'd give it another go tonight, and I put in 2-3 hours, and it's positively unplayable in its current format.

So many bugs I won't go over all of them, and the speed is half of what it was before.

Once my $300 bonus clears from my last $3000 deposit, I'm out of there, and will not return unless they revert the poker software to it's once glorious self.

It was a phenomenal site to play poker, and it's a darn shame it's ruined, most likely forever.
