Two KK Hands
Hand 1:
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) SB ($61.05) BB ($45) Hero ($243.95) MP ($133.80) CO ($332.55) Button ($211.25) Preflop: Hero is UTG with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $1. Hero raises to $8, MP calls $8, CO calls $8, 1 fold, SB (poster) calls $7, BB calls $6. Flop: ($40) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (5 players) SB checks, BB bets $20, Hero calls $20, MP calls $20, CO folds, SB folds. Turn: ($100) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players) BB goes allin for $17 (All-In), Hero raises to $65, MP folds. River: ($182) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players, 1 all-in) Final Pot: $182 --> I do not have a real read on any of these players since I'm 8tabling. However both have loose preflop numbers and do not seem particularly good. They are both calling down too much with marginal holdings (or complete crap). Hand 2: Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) UTG ($112.15) MP ($120.65) CO ($300) Button ($81.05) Hero ($200) BB ($169.41) Preflop: Hero is SB with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Hero posts a blind of $1. 4 folds, Hero (poster) raises to $8, BB calls $7. Flop: ($18) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero bets $12, BB calls $12. Turn: ($42) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero checks, BB bets $30, Hero raises to $150, BB folds. Final Pot: $222 The BB was definately quite a loose-bad player. At the turn I was not sure if he had the flush so I decided to go for the check-raise, to prevent being out of position on the river if my draw does not hit... Additionally there is the chance he would like to stack of with top pair, but would be scared if another flush card falls on the river. |

Re: Two KK Hands
hand 1: raise the flop
hand 2: call the turn, you're setting yourself up to lose a big pot when you don't need to. If you want him to stack off with one pair he can do that on the river. If he's bluffing, give him another chance to bluff. |

Re: Two KK Hands
Hand 1 seems standard. Reraise the flop though and get him all in.
Hand 2 is bad. Bet a little more on the flop, 15ish. On the turn you can't decide if he has a flush so you c/r ai? Even with a bad player I don't like that. Raising for info sucks, and raising ai here just to insure no river action is worse. I would rather just c/c turn and river. The scariest card that could come on the river is a heart, and that would give us second nuts. Pot control is big here imo. |
