Default Poker Room Network?

I have never played at any of the Poker Room skins, but the deposit bonuses intrigue me. I plan to play mostly 1/2 limit full ring. Which skin should I start with? Which bonus is most reasonable for that limit? What else do I need to know about this network?

I have feasted on the 2/4 fish pond at Party for the last few years, and I'm looking for a change of pace. How do the Poker Room games compare to Party?

Thanks,

Fitz

PokerRoom: PSO promo $100 deposit, $40 bonus + $120 gift for 400 points (10x).

HoldEm Poker next: $100 deposit, $150 bonus for 1050 points (7x)

Hollywood Poker next: <check the bonuswhores page for this one> <or the reload thread> <or PM me your Name and email address and I will refer you for $75 additional> then reload: $50 deposit, $50 bonus for 450 points (7x)

Eurobet next: $200 deposit $200 bonus for 2000 points (10x) +rakeback.

There are alot of other threads on pokerroom in the last 2 weeks read those as well.

Why do down from 2/4 to 1/2?

PR is easy. Maybe not as fishy as Party, but easy nonetheless. Too bad you missed the reload bonus festival.

I was planning on dropping to 1/2 because I don't want to move that much of my bankroll to a different site. Also, I wanted to get a feel for the site then I would probably move back to 2/4.

Thanks,

Fitz

Well, i can tell you that right now is a terrible time to move to PR. They are having major disconnect and freezeup problems. And per usual, their CS is doing nothing about it.

$1 max rake at 1/2 on PR, I suspect that this is higher than PP. Games on PR are probably slightly less fishy as well.

PP has $1 rake max as well for 1/2, although PR starts the rake sooner with .10c.

PR has a max of .50c rake for 25NL, while PP has a $3 max. Huge difference.

Yes, but the max rake kicks in at $12 on PR, and $20 on Party. A massive difference.

In simple terms, PR = Great rake structre for NL, horrid for limit.

Oh, i totally agree. I didn't mean to suggest otherwise. PR's rake structure for limit is criminal. I believe it hits 10c almost immediately and hits 40c after $4. PP doesn't even start taking rake until $5 right?
