Default Did RRR Sell?

I know I am speculating but.. Did rakebackreview just sell? Anyone have any information?

Couple things why I ask.

#1 John hasn't been online much and everyone knows he just took a job elsewhere

#2 Theres a new site in the #1 slot out of nowhere

#3 Prima offers John limited to 35% and this new site lists over that

#4 The Whois on the site just changed today

Anyone heard anything? Not that it matters I guess but would be nice to know if John is running the show still.

It looks like a private registration and the same one as RakeCommunity so maybe they took it over?

Here is the whois info for RRR:

Registered through: Low Dot Domains
Domain Name: RAKEREBATEREVIEW.COM
Created on: 05-Nov-04
Expires on: 05-Nov-09
Last Updated on: 07-Aug-05

Where do you see that the registration was changed today?

Also, the private registration service used (DomainsByProxy.com) is the same one 90% of sites use.

RakeReduction: Did you email John to ask him before posting this here?

I apologize for the assumption. I based that on the fact that the rest of PA's domains were not private.

I haven't been able to get ahold of John in quite awhile.. But my GUESS is Pokerlistings.com bought RRR.. Pure guess.. rakebrain and that site look similiar, rakebrain suddenly gets listed at #1 at RRR.

Pure guess..

No need to guess. Go to PokerListings site and you will see.

We (RakeRebate.net) shared #1 spot on RRR with thisisthenuts.com, at the time Rakebrain came in we were #1 and nuts #2. We were suddenly removed completely. I emailed Pokeraddict to find out wtf was going on but he has not responded yet. We have now been moved down to spot #7.

RRR also used to have the caps in order to protect the business for the future, but Rakebrain do not seem to care about this, and I can only assume that he sold and Pokerlistings are now behind the wheels doing what suits them.

Email me on thomas@rakerebate.net if anyone needs to contact me.

Regards,
Thomas

Ya its pretty obvious they bought it which is a conflict of interest.. I noticed that you got moved right away for some unknown.

Its painfully obvious pokerlistings bought them..

I know a # of affiliates are going to start listing elsewhere.. I mean, we pay ALOT of money for even our ad spot and get 200 hits last month?

The site has clearly lost its swagger.

What directory are you moving to? Perhaps someone can start a new one?
