considering stacks are 4 figures, i cant think right lol.
i cant see him having ahand that beats you. except maby Q8. but how is he raising top 2 there? Hes probably raising a set on the flop because of the spades, and the 8 didnt complete any draws. It could have given him a low straight draw if he held JT9x. So he could be holding something like JsTs9X i think i might get this AI. This really looks like he made a drawing hand. If hes got Q8, youve still got outs left. Am i way off here? im still learning Omaha, and i have no idea what the standard plays here are. |

It comes down to his playing style. Would he let you take a card off when he has a set, knowing you'll bet again with very marginal hands? Would he ever wait until the turn to raise a draw?
Most of the time, against a standard player, you are up against a real hand here, probably Q8. Anytime you're ahead, your probably on the 60/40 side of a flip on the turn if he's got any kind of real drawing hand (something like K9TJ with spades). When you're behind you have at best 10 or 11 outs. |

Yah this is a fold. The card you were looking for was the 8 of hearts, and that ain't coming.

Slow played set, right? Fold I guess. [/ QUOTE ] didnt think he would c/c the flop with a set, because of the spades out there. anyways, we got it all in on the turn, he has KQJT no spades, and i made flush on river to scoop 4500$. will def. be playing this guy again! sub |

FWIW I like villains line here, and I think your call was bad. He happened to have one of the worst hands in his probable range, but that doesn't make that call correct. If I were him I would be looking forward to playing you again.

IMO w/ a hand as strong as yours you shouldnt be betting the turn unless your decision is fairly easy after he raises (it doesnt matter what this decision is). If he is the type of player to make it a tough decision for you then you shouldnt be betting w/ these stack sizes (because checking behind is definitely +EV). That is of course unless you think that he rarely c/rs turns.

I noticed you playing HU on the 10/20 again and sitting out when Darwinism sat down. Good plan.
