The fact that her husband left her and is now with Annie Duke definately brings her hotness factor down.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think she dumped him?

Except for the fact that she left him, you're right.

Uh, I think Shannon got the better end of this separation. The fact that she WAS with him brought her hotness factor down. It's going back up.

From Shannon Elizabeth to Annie Duke? That's a brutal way to return to reality.

Talked about it on The Circuit. Said that Erik Lindgren got her the sponsorship for this event, and she wants to be sponsored for the WSOP.

Full Tilt is one of a handful of online poker rooms that offers a "contingency" sponsorship deal to a player who asks a Full Tilt marketing representative for a deal prior to the start of a televised poker tournament.

In a "contingency" sponsorship deal, a player only gets paid if he/she gets to the TV final table taping, and the player receives additional bonuses for finishing 1st or 2nd because that player was present for the entire TV show.

[Disclosure: I did a contingency deal over the weekend with Full Tilt for the $1060 buy-in National Poker League Vegas Open tournament #3, which will pass 7 million US TV households on INHD starting this July (anticipated 1st run viewership on INHD should be on the order of 20000-30000 households). Full Tilt paid me $n,000 for wearing both a baseball cap and a shirt logo at the TV final table, where I finished 2nd out of 72.]

A B-List celebrity such as Shannon Elizabeth would obviously get a better deal from the likes of Full Tilt than most of us. She might have been offered money up front in addition to being offered the TV final table bonuses (which would be on the order of $n0,000 because WPT events currently draw about 600,000 hosueholds in the US on the Travel Channel), though I have no way of knowing with absolute certainty whether she got any money from Full Tilt up front.
