Default JJ hand in capped pot

Was fairly new to this table. The way the betting went, I figured someone had a A or K at worst. Would anyone call this hand down to the end or bet the river? Figured I had pot odds to call the flop.

b]Preflop: Hero is BB with J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
Hero checks, UTG checks, MP bets, 1 folds, Button calls, 1 folds, UTG calls, UTG raises, MP 3-bets, CO caps, Button calls, 1 folds, Hero calls, UTG calls, MP calls.

Flop: (20.50 SB) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (5 players)
Hero checks, UTG checks, MP checks, CO checks, Button bets, Hero calls, UTG raises, MP calls, CO calls, Button calls, Hero calls.

Turn: (15.25 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (5 players)
Hero checks, UTG checks, MP checks, CO checks, Button checks.

River: (15.25 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (5 players)
Hero checks, UTG checks, MP bets, CO folds, Button calls, Hero folds, UTG calls.

Final Pot: 18.25 BB.

First I wanted to say 'fold the flop'. But the pot really is huge + some great implied odds (although only 1 bet on the turn and the river is ridiculous, but we couldn't know).

Nice hand.

I like this play of the hand. I dont think you call the river unless improved. Very safe to say that MP has deffinatly got a A or K or both, not counting that 99 also beats you on this river.

I think I would have played this hand in the same way you did.

The only slighty off hting is the call PF, i know JJ is a nice hand, dont get me wrong but if you had better reads/stats on these players, i might be able to find a fold. Not sure if this even crossedyour mind. With out no reads/stats then i think i call.

I think he deffinatly has the odds to call this on the flop. both the inital raise and then the re-raise. With the action gone on PF you have to give yourself a quite a few implided odds in this situation i think.

UTG should have a K here the way he played the hand. KQ possibly. MP looks like an A. JJ is definitely toast on the river. No way it can even be good 18:1. Guess peeling the flop is fine with big odds.

Well that makes me feel a little better. Two of the villians turned over pocket jj's and pocket 10's, so I would have have split the pot. With the Betting I was sure that someone had at least pocket queens or an A or k in their hand.
