I tried the GRANNY code this morning at Paradise. The code did not work for me. In the email reply it says:

"$206.00 Total purchase amount (US$)
Not eligible to use bonus code 'GRANNY' -- account created 182 days ago
(must be within 30)"

I had created my Paradise Poker account too long ago So if other whoring newbies read this, be sure to use a fresh account at Paradise......

I did email support on this, and they manually added the 50% bonus to my account. So if this happens to another whoring newbie, try emailing support@paradisepoker.com

I thought I read a post from GRANNY recently that the bonus had been withdrawn.

I don't think you can still get a 100 bonus from Paradise, just $50. But it is 100 hands and they release 10 bucks of your bonus...so 500 total.

[/ QUOTE ]
You can get a $100 deposit bonus still on Paradise w/out the GRANNY code. You just gotta find it. Google for it.

[ QUOTE ]
But I think they have quite a weard idea of what a raked hand is:

A raked hand is a cash hand in which you contribute to the pot with betting or blinds, this hand must reach the flop and the pot must be of a sizeable amount for the house to take a rake (%). You need only be involved in the hand, losing or folding will still result in the hand going towards your raked hand total, additionally each cash tournament will add one raked hand towards your total.

Maybe I understand it uncorrectly but to me it seems like they only count hands that you don't fold preflop as possible raked hands... In that way the bonus would take a lot longer than all other raked hand bonusses. Anybody knows exactly what they mean with that raked hand definition?

[/ QUOTE ]
Regarding the Boss Media network, it's simple. If you see a flop and there is at least $0.01 USD of rake, that counts as a raked hand. Almost every hand you see a flop on will have a raked pot (unless it's like SB vs BB and the pot is too small).

Yeah, you got it right. It is slow going and there is no way to multi table (only because they have very few players and usually only 1 table open for the .50/.1 tables...the lowest you should play or you'll be there forever). There is good money to be made there as there are usually 7-10 players on the flop! But the suck out factor is huge...a board ace will almost always kill you KK. It is a decent place to start.

[/ QUOTE ]
Are you referring to the various Boss Media sites (Casino.net, Sportingbet.com, etc), right? Because most of what you said is inaccurate if that is the case. To start, you CAN multitable the Boss Media sites. Secondly, there are always a good number of .50/1 tables available. If you meant the .10/.20 tables, there are typically three, one of which is usually hidden (it'll pop up in the lobby at random). You can clear the bonus playing .10/.20; the T&C is not enforced in this regard. If you multitable, it's a fairly quick bonus to clear. I played 3 .10/.20 tables (two 5-max, one 10-man) and 1 .25/.50 with just a $20 deposit and cleared the bonus in about 4-5 hours. Oh, and the tables are soft as hell to boot. Check out the Internet Bonuses forum and you'll find many threads regarding these bonuses.

I used the GRANNY bonus at Paradise two weeks ago and just cleared...

QUESTION. I have a bankroll now of around $700 split between Party, Pacific, and Paradise. Whats my next move? Should I go take advantage of Absolute Poker and their 100% signup bonus? Try one of the Crypto sites?

For reference I like to play 50c/$1 limit holdem and Omaha/8.

Thanks for any help!

Unfortunately, you can't really clear any crypto bonuses at .5/1 anymore; a "raked" pot is now one raked over $1 (ie, total pot over $20 :-p)

Thanks! Well that at least narrows it down for me.

How do you guys feel about the games at Absolute? Ive seem them rated as pretty tough. Are the 50c/$1 limit games tough to beat for 2 or 3 BB/hr? How do the games at Absolute compare to Paradise?

I thought Paradise 50c/$1 limit holdem games were damn tough, especially during the week. I had a very hard time finding ANY table with more than 40% seeing the flop. I ended up playing Omaha/8 instead. I came out of Paradise $50 ahead, but that included my $100 signup bonus! As you can see most of you shouldnt worry about me beating you out of your bankroll!

With that said, Can anyone mention a couple of other sites with good new player bonuses with games that arent that tough?

Thanks!
