whiskey is not making sense bav, the sahara tourney is easily the best value out there...and since there are usually 50-75 people, you get a good prizepool

thanks everybody for your input...so i will give saharas a try and possibly alladdin's too...bav, your take is kinda right, she doesn't think she is very good and doesn't want to spend that much money but like you said for the money you get a lot more play time and she plays ultra tight for the most part so i think we will give it a whirl and not have the all-in fest an hour after we start the tourney..thanks again guys...maybe i'll see you around the fourth of july at the caesars tourney

Last couple of weeks, the entries have been over a hundred all times. Stopped by looking for the 4/8 spread game they have sometimes and they had NO cash game going at all. Just the tournament.

Which tournament, which day? Weekdays (the only days I normally play there) 11am is usually like 5 tables. 11pm is usually in the 8-10 table realm. 7pm is the big one with usually more like 11-13 tables. And Wednesday is bigger than M,T,Th (I'm told because the Sahara tourneys used to only run on Sunday/Wednesday so many folks are still in the Wednesday habit).

But the point is, the Sahara tourneys are well attended, the vig is acceptable, the play is abominable, and the players and dealers seem to understand we're playing a $62 tourney and it's just not worth getting all hot and lathered over little things.
