Default 10k Hand Checkup

Hello SSNL,

I recently made the switch from STTs (mostly $22s, 6-tabling) to 6-max NL. While I don't feel like I'm totally clueless, I'd appreciate feedback about my numbers so far. I know that 10k hands is only a drop in the bucket, but I'm hoping some of the stats have started to converge and can be analyzed.

I'd like to look at a few areas specifically:

1. VPIP/PFR. I know that everyone plays differently, but is 19/8 an acceptable style? I've been looking for spots to open up a bit (possibly related to steal numbers, VPIP by position).

2. VPIP from SB. I think I might be a little too loose here. I'll catch myself completing hands like T8o with two limpers, and I've tried to cut those out in the last two or three thousand hands.

3. Folded SB/BB to steal. I think I give up my blinds a little too easily, especially against LP raises from solid TAGs.

4. Att. to steal blinds. Can I open up a bit more here, too? I'm often open-folding hands like Ax in the CO/OTB.

5. WTSD/W$SD. I'm guessing WTSD is low and W$SD is high.

6. Position stats. My button PFR is less than my CO and HJ PFR numbers. I often overlimp with hands here instead of raising with them. Is this normal? Also, I find myself completing/folding my SB HU, is this a leak?

And here are the PT screenshots:

I know there's a lot of material there, and I'll appreciate any feedback that I get. I also plan on posting more hands and being more active in the forum. Anyone have a converter link that isn't busto for Party?

Well, use this converter for Party Poker hands.

19/8 is a little on the nitty side, but if it works for you, then that is fine.

Yes, you should be stealing a little bit more as well. My stealing % is around 25%. Ax in the CO/button are automatic raises for me, I'm sure others will agree.

Look up Pokey's post on blind stealing, there are a lot of good pointers in there, I think it's in the digest. Also, if you have questions regarding other PT information, try Pokey's How to Use Pokertracker post, also in the digest.

Edit: Haha, Khaos beat me to it.

Thanks to both of you, the How to Use PT post looks like good stuff. And forgive me for the "this stuff is in the FAQ" questions, I'm still exploring everything

I like your stats, and your winrate is quite good.

Your biggest leaks won't show up in this table. Go to "game notes" click "get all" and sort by "net". Examine all your big losing hands, and see if you donked your stack off with any top-pair/two-pair kind of hands.

As pokey said, trust the donks. You should be folding to resistance (whether a strong bet into you or a raise) nine times out of ten, especially on the turn.

After reading through the PT post and playing around with it, it looks like I'm not aggressive enough in HU pots and I should also be firing more C-bets after I raise PF. This is great info, thanks everyone!
