Default Running a Tournament

I've been running a weekly tournament that usually has between 8 and 15 guys. Never more that two tables. I've been asked to help run two large tournaments this summer. One about 50 people and another about 150. I'm usually the guy that people look to for settling arguments, etc. I'm pretty well read on the subject and play just about every day and at least once a month in the casinos.

Any advice on what I should take into account when planning this? I've thought of the standard items like needing dealers and chips, cards, tables and a venue. What would you recommend as far as maybe some software to count down the blinds and keep track of players and chips, etc. Or anything else that would be helpful.

Much Appreciated!
