Didn't know a lot about villian other than that he was 80/15 over 40 hands, so obviously very loose.

This smells pretty much like a 3. I think there's a chance an idiot could play 77-99 like this too, so I might push and lose.

if he's that loose, push. you'll win often, and you'll take it back from him if you dont win it this time.

I like to push and if I lose, I lose. They could have some bad over pair that you're crushing or even a good pair that you're crushing like a KK or QQ that they played pretty passively. Some people simply don't get more than one or two raises in with their big hands, for whatever reason. If they got a set, you're suppose to lose to that, and a three is just unfortunate. A lot of players, mostly better ones, will set a big turn raise as a bluff for trips. While this prolly isn't the case, get it in. I really think you'll win more times than not. He even might have top pair ace kicker and be playing it rough. Soooo many hands you can beat...

Bet more on the flop, you're missing value.

What happened here is I pushed, he called and he has 24 soooted lol to give him the str8. Was about the last hand I expected to see. I posted this hand becasue basically I was wondering if there was any way i could get away from it on the turn knowing that someone this loose could easily have a 3 in his hand from how loose he is. However i made the push thinking someone like this could easily have an over pair or even top pair with an ace so was just wondering if my line was right.

Betting 9 more dollars on the flop is not going to change his implied odds if he hits and you still stack off.
(I still bet more on the flop - but it doesn't really change his implied odds going forward.) |
