Begining to Play SNG

If I wanted to start playing SNG on a regular basis, what is a good number of buyins to have in my account. I am mostly a live game player, but have started to think about playing in these SNGs. Thoughts, Also I am sorry I wasnt sure what to search for, and I tried a few things. I am sure this is already on here somewhere.
