I'm sure you recognize why only betting when you have a big pair here is a bad idea....

[/ QUOTE ] If i thought anyone was paying attention, and this situation came up again (pf raise, one caller, probably a 50% chance that the caller has an overpair), then I could see this being a bad idea to not c-bet. But I also think that c-betting everytime i raise could also be bad (by the same logic you are using), since that means to an observant opponent that I am c-betting often when the flop is missing me.

I'm not saying that I shouldn't c-bet. I'm not completely convinced, but so far I have no allies, so I have to respect that.
