me away when they did austin city limits last year.

checking out another way underated country axe-man in a week or so-Eddie Perez who's now touring with Dwight Yoakam-he was with the Mavericks as a replacement guitairst but this guy is super talented..mexican american from los angeles..second Dwight gig I'll see in 2 months-if you have not seen this lineup check them out. Florida has tons of good blues,cajun and americana rollin thru the state..if you cant catch a gig in one city and dont mind driving you can see tons of great music. I'll drive as far as tampa or gainesville but most stuff I see is in orlando,west palm or ft.lauderdale.

This is the best blues/americana room in florida and was voted by billboard or some such as one of the best in the country-great room with amazing acoustics,eclectic lineup and 200 or so max seating-check it out if you ever come on down.

I just caught a 2 week bonanaza: Chuck Prophet,The Blasters, Mark Kozelek(SunKilMoon) and Duke Robillard. Missed Tinsley Ellis-who's great live.

Just prepaid for the following gigs in June:
DwightYoakam in St.Pete,Buddy Guy HOB-Orlando,Echo and theBunnymen HOB-Orlando
..other good gigs in June Guitar Shorty, John Hiatt w/ n.Miss.Allstars, Albert Cummings, Commander Cody, New Ryders of Purple Sage, Cracker and Legendary Pink Dots.

pretty good for June-summer in general is the worst time to see live music in florida.

Now is probably a bad time to say that I made $5,100 in an 8 hour session at my local casino playing 30/60 last night, isn't it? It was my best live session by a couple grand.
