UB 3/6: I played AA super passive HU
Villian is 19/6/2.13 over 206 hands.
I have serious consideration to folding the flop... Ultimate Bet Limit Holdem Ring game Limit: $3/$6 10 players Converter Pre-flop: (10 players) Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] UTG calls, 5 folds, CO raises, Hero 3-bets, 3 folds, CO caps, Hero calls. Flop: Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (10.33SB, 2 players) CO bets, Hero calls. Turn: 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (6.17BB, 2 players) CO bets, Hero calls. River: 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (8.17BB, 2 players) CO bets, Hero calls. Results: Final pot: 10.17BB |

Re: UB 3/6: I played AA super passive HU
i go nuts on the flop here to try and find out where i'm at... I raise the flop and make a judgement if i'm 3-bet... i'm not dropping here at all...
you have at least six outs to any set he holds, and 3 to tie his AK which is really as bad of a situation as you can be in... you're against KK a fair amount of the time here... but i'm not sure you lose too much value by playing it the way you did... really is a flop that hits a large range of his hands... i just like to see a raise somewhere in here for when he has KK, preferably early in the hand... |

Re: UB 3/6: I played AA super passive HU
The problem with raising for information is that villian is probably going to reraise me with KK and AA...

Re: UB 3/6: I played AA super passive HU
Let's assume his capping range is AK/AA-JJ
AK (8 combos): 1.5 outs KK (3): 2 QQ/JJ(6): 6 Gives 3.2 outs on average. Getting 11.3:1 I think a call is fine. Especially since AK/AA-JJ is about the worst capping range we can put him on (for you), you'll most likely have more outs than 3.2 on average. EDIT: I'm an idiot, we're ahead of KK, folding isn't an option here |

Re: UB 3/6: I played AA super passive HU
raising for information is the dumbest thing i've heard. a 19/6 cap range is typically {AKs, AKo, QQ+). figure the rest out. i think call down here is fine.

Re: UB 3/6: I played AA super passive HU
i would be inclined to raise on the flop and call down from there...
