id also probably have pushed over the first raise, but i still dont know if i fold to the 2nd minraise. is minraising his 1st bet just trying to see if he has a monster or not (bc you said he wouldnt do it without one....)

i just push preflop when it gets to you based on your description of the table. you should be way ahead of his range.
