Given the guranteed victories against the Royals, and the decline of the Twins, even if they don't take the division they have an outstanding shot at the wild card.

And don't underestimate the "Chain" (Leyland). We saw what happens when that is done at the beginning of the seasons.

I posted in another thread that this guy named Shootie Babbit predicted the Tigers would win the AL Central. Babbit is a scout for the Diamond Backs and a former A's player. He has radio show in the Bay Area called Inside Baseball Saturday Night. I thought he was on crack when he made that prediction but it's looking good so far.
