J9s from Button
Small site with no HUD stats. I've only played about 3 orbits with villian. He's raised preflop 2-3 times, always 4xBB and also has limped in a 2-3 times. He hasn't shown down. He's also folded to a Cbet when he's called preflop. So, I guess he seems OK. Certainly not terrible.
Hero has $200 and villian covers. Hero openraises for $8 with J9s from the button. SB folds. BB calls. Flop is 984r ($16). Villian donks for $10. Hero calls (??) Turn ($36) is an Ace, completing the rainbow. Villian leads for $22. Hero........???? Not really sure what to do on this flop or turn. Please advise..... |

Re: J9s from Button
looks like he's slowing down some here, and you're in a good spot to represent the ace. i prefer a raise to a call here.

Re: J9s from Button
On a flop, is a call or a raise better? I used to raise but I find that people alwyas just fold when I do, or 3 bet me making me fold.
