i usually go sleep in a bath to relax.
in the hours/days after i tend to do productive stuff. i basically never open my mail, so i'll go through that pile. other cleaning/organizing. during my last downswing i finally got around to learning how to program (downloaded visual c# express 2005 free, went through the free web video series, ran to borders and bought learning c# 2005 2nd edition by jesse liberty. it's not hard, highly recommend it.

If I'm like wigging out upset I'll walk. By the time I get back, the combination of emotional and physical fatigue will let me crash hard.
Sometimes I'll just start writing about everything that's driving me nuts. I won't share it with anybody, but just getting it down makes me feel good. And then other times I just start insulting people on the internet.
