Canadian Heading to LV with Neteller Debit
I have a neteller acct that's in US funds. I'm planning on going to Vegas next week but didn't want to bring down a couple grand on me in cash. I was wondering how much should I put on my debit if I wanted to withdraw 800 dollars (seems to be the limit from these forums)? I know neteller charges a $2 fee too, so it'd be minimum $802 right?
I don't want to leave excess on the card because I can't transfer it back to my neteller account once I withdraw to the neteller debit card. According to the FAQ on their site, only US neteller accounts can put funds back from the debit card to the neteller account. |

Re: Canadian Heading to LV with Neteller Debit
the fees schedule is on their site somewhere, I think it's $2 for a withdrawal? so $804 seems right. But you could always just ask their live chat, I've found they are usually helpful!
the 800 limit sucks tho!! |

Re: Canadian Heading to LV with Neteller Debit
Ok it really sucks for this. Since you are CAD it converts it to CAD when it goes onto your card. Then when you cashout at the ATM it will convert it to USD. So its going to go USD -> CAD -> USD and you are going to lose out on all the fees as well as conversions.
$800 is not much cash to carry. Just request a cheque. |

make sure you also put a few extra bucks on there for the ATM usage fee [/ QUOTE ] This is a good point. Try to avoid using the casino ATM machines. Wynn charges $5! |
