History window keeps popping up in Mozzila

For some reason, every time I open up a new broswer window, a window detailing my browsing history opens on the left side of the screen. How do I change the default to get rid of it permanently?

in relation to your problem i would just uninstall it then install it again which would get rid of the problem....in the meantime dont let your grandma on your computer!
