A bit confused over BJ strategy cards for Starluck
I've started on my first ever casino bonus, beginning with Starluck as many do. What I'm a little confused about is which strategy card I should use. I found cards at the casino dave, wizard of odds, and casino bonus pages sites. Now they are very similar but only the wizard of odds card seems to incorporate the surrender option offered at Starluck [edit, ok, take that back, I've found more than one card at WoO, and some included surrendering, and some don't and CBP does have a strategy card with surrendering). I don't claim to know the intricacies of the math but I'm leaning towards the surrender option with 16 when the dealer is showing a 10 (or am I a wuss and need to just trust the card?)
[editx2, and there are conlficting suggestions on whether to split 88 if the dealer is showing a T or an ace] Since so many have probably done the Starluck bonus here, can someone tell me which one of these strategy cards, if any, is the best one to use? Thanks |

Wizard of Odds seems like a trustworthy website and he seems to have a substantial amount of knowledge about the statistics. I would go with his card.

Re: A bit confused over BJ strategy cards for Starluck
There is more than one correct chart, because basic strategy changes based upon the rules of the blackjack game (standing versus hitting on a soft 17, etc.). Use wizardofodds, and make sure you're using the correct chart for the rules employed by starluck (it shoudl say it on starluck's tables).
