Default If this happens again, do I bet more on the river?

I normally don't make plays like this, but I'm trying to open up and play my position more. At the time this felt right.

Also I started to vary my bets a little bit, rather than sticking to an exact "3/4ths of the pot or full pot only".

I decided to show results because hiding them serves no purpose here. Villian's range is basically any 2. I figured I was up against a decent ace (AT, AJ, etc.), and wanted to get payed off on the river, not make him fold.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (7 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

UTG ($9.70)
MP1 ($11.15)
MP2 ($16.30)
CO ($7.45)
Hero ($9.40)
SB ($8.35)
BB ($9.90)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
UTG calls $0.10, 3 folds, Hero raises to $0.35, 2 folds, UTG calls $0.25.

Flop: ($0.85) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $0.55, UTG calls $0.55.

Turn: ($1.95) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $1.4, UTG calls $1.40.

River: ($4.75) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $2.3, UTG calls $2.30.

Final Pot: $9.35

Results in white below:
UTG has 2d 2c (three of a kind, twos).
Hero has 3s 7s (flush, ace high).
Outcome: Hero wins $9.35.

Btw I was prepared to check/fold to any resistance if I didn't hit the spade.

3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], please fold this preflop its garbage in any position.

Edit: Also raise more preflop, you have a limiper in there.

This is a very opponent dependent hand. You basically want to bet as much as you think he'll call.

Im all for button steals but after a utg limper im not sure 37s is a hand i want here, i like the thought though, I would go for closer to pot, maybe an even 4.

Preflop is dependent on the table conditions, I'd usually pitch 73s but raising here isn't hopeless. If he's a set miner then it's a good move.

Make it more preflop, standard is 4xBB+1 per limper, so make it 0.50.

On the river you can be certain he has at least a pair of aces so bet whatever he'll call with that. Pot sounds good.
