My flopped set play is just horrible. I really want to milk my sets so I'm afraid to scare people out of the pot by betting. I really would like to fire a Continuation Bet sized bet out there in hopes of getting re-raised, but most players at this level don't even really understand Cbets, so they would see it as me showing strength and not a pot steal, and thus fold.

You generally don't make much on sets when the others have nothing.

I would say the tendency for players at that level, and well above, to call you down with [censored] cancels out that factor.

I'm all about aggression, but why not just see a flop here? Raising here sets up a big pot that you have to play out of position.

I make it $1.50 preflop, and then value bet the flop, turn and river.

I would say since you raised preflop you have to bet pot on the flop here.
A turn checkraise on a non A,K turn might be an option.
a pot, pot, pot line is always reasonable given this board.
