2 hands from the US Daily
US Daily on pokerroom (50+4). Starting stack is 1500.
Hand 1: blinds 400/800. Hero is on the button with 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and t9500. UTG is the chipleader with about 32K. MP villain has about 20K. We just got off the bubble. UTG in this hand is super-LAG donky. He called a re-raised 3-way all-in pre-flop earlier with A5o. (was up against JJ and AQ and lost) But in another hand, he mini-raised my blind and I pushed with A6 and he folded. He's playing about 50% of his starting hands. The other villain is also loose, but not as bad. UTG calls 800. 2 folds. MP calls 800. 2 folds. Hero folds. I think I missed a chance to steal 2800 chips here. What do you think? Hand 2: blinds 500/1000. About 17 players left. Avg. stack is ~17K I think. Hero has t1100 with 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4 folds. Hero raises to 2500. 3 folds. BB (t20K) calls. Flop (t5500) K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 10 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] BB checks. Hero? Too Laggy, I know. Boy did I muck this up. What now? (villain here is pretty solid) |

Re: 2 hands from the US Daily
I forgot to mention in the first hand SB and BB both had about the same size stack as me and neither seemed very loose with their chips.

Re: 2 hands from the US Daily
You say you have t1100 from somewhere in MP and blinds are 500/1000? And then the next line is a raise to 2500...
If you missed typed 1100 and meant 11000 then you're folding this hand. If you actually do have 1100 behind you're pushing any two, this is marginally better than random and maybe you'll draw out if you get a caller (of which many you'd get for a bit more than the BB). |
