Dealing with Disapproving wife (Reversed)

Ok so i keep reading how your parents dont want you to play poker...
My dad doesn't want me to either...
not because of any financial aspect, just that he does not want it to take over my real life.

I work in the family business and own my own manufacturing company (probably switching to importing in the near future because of soaring raw material costs). I work really long days and sleep on average 6h per day.

When I have spare time after 9pm and want to just sit and vegitate by playing a military expansion or Tycoon type game my wife always comes in and starts nagging me...
Her two most common lines are,
" HEY come ON, make some more money!" and "Play more poker."
I kid you not.
I figgure if you made deposits to your parents bank account from your poker winnings, you would have the same problem.

If you are as good as you think you are then you can get a 9-5 job AND play 3h of poker every day.

All women are golddiggers, they just vary by how deep they will dig.

When I played 21 seriously ($25-$200/hand in 80s dollars) and then cut back my hours to spend time with my infant son I got the "why dont you go make some money" line quite often.

But, as in the other wife/parent/gf thread, they dont understand variance. You can 10 days in a row, but have a minor loss and its "quit now"
