Procters "stuff' rating (which measures dominance relative to competition) has been below REPLACEMENT since his season in las vegas in 03. did you know that his home park in the minors (columbus) suppresses scoring by about 10%? probably not, but i did. usuing ERA to judge a middle reliever is retarded anyway. they usually come in with men on base, and the runners THEY put on are left for someone else to deal with. at his age and with his history, he is most likely AT BEST a league average middle reliever. league average middle relievers are not *good* pitchers. they are the rough equivalent of a 11th man in the NBA.
