yo G, how's the heat out there? I'll be in Vegas in 3 weeks. In between the golf, dinners, dice, booze, etc, I'm gonna try to squeeze in some poker. Where/which limits are at the top of your list?

Well he likes to gamble but is not a donating fish by any means, he plays a superLAG game but seems to do well with it - maybe thats a function of his competition

with the sample size of the show, i am not sure if he is a winning/losing player, Bart/Date/anyone else - any insight?

Huh? Forgive my ignorance to the California games....

[/ QUOTE ]

the non-poker games in California aren't banked by the house (the way it's done in Vegas). It's supposed to be "every man for himself" at the table, just like poker. But, most people don't roll in with $200K in their pocket. So, a group of people with some big $$$$ actually banks all bets at these tables. I believe Mike's mom Trish is one of the BIG bankers and Mike runs the biz.

I've watched the last month or so and he seems almost Orlando-ish, but doesn't seem to know when to lay off of the gas peddle. He makes for good shows though

Quick question for you Vegas/LA players...

If you had 1-2 weeks time off of work to go play poker, would you go play at the Bike or head to Vegas? I'd be going alone and strictly to play "full-time" for 1 to 2 weeks. Thoughts?

edit to add: the idea of playing in the $500 NL games on LATB is appealing to critique my play....
