SN Change
I played a bit of the mid limits on party as ChchchCheeta, I had a bad run at 20/40 recently and decided to switch to NL for a while and change the sn, I'll be back to limit soon enough though.
Anyway, just looking for any advice you guys can give me, I don't know if I played enough there for anyone to have much for me but I thought I'd give it a shot. Just looking for general weaknesses I may have, any help is appreciated. |

From way back in February, my only HH with you:

Re: SN Change
I could easily be convinced it's best, but it just seems like checking the flop makes him the least the times he is ahead here and just lets 2, 4, or 5 outers draw for free in a bloated pot the times he is ahead. Why do you like it, and what's your plan for the rest of the hand?

Why do you like it, and what's your plan for the rest of the hand? [/ QUOTE ] There are very few 4 and 5 outers expected to be out there. His hand is invulnerable to overcards, and he's not missing value from hands like 77-QQ, as those hands usually won't be calling down in the hands of a competent 3-bettor. He is allowing a free card only when you have a hand that is clearly not good (88, 99), and when you choose to not take a stab with QQ, TT. Of all hands you could have picked out, I don't think this one is remarkable at all. Maybe a flop check convinces you that your KJs is good if you're laggy and you bet (I don't know you or your 3betting range), maybe he just wanted to see how the action progressed, and was ready to fold to a bet+raise or maybe he was check-calling the flop and re-evaluating on the turn. I don't know. I just think that it's hardly a disastrous check in any occasion. |

Re: SN Change
My notes for you:
3 BET A CR ON A 9 HI FLOP W AQ R A QT FLOP HU VS A PFR W J7 ZERO AND BET THE TURN 3-BET PF IN BB W 55 AFTER A LIMPER AND RAISER In general I think you have a tendency toward overplaying. |

Re: SN Change
I think betting the flop is best in the KK hand, that would be my default way of playing it now, but I don't know what kind of reads I was working with in that hand.
Thanks for the feedback cartman |
