wowow he gave you 3.2? i think 4 is a fair line, but im just guessing
now that sturtze is out for the year proctor is more likely to get overworked, he now occupies the "decidely average reliever who has torres total and complete trust 5 days a week" spot in the yankee pen. that doesnt bode well for his ERA. he will still do much better than last year and at least have some value which im happy about, but a 3.2 era is sort of crazy. also, memo to manny: your team is down by 6, and the ball was only 5 rows into the stands. start running.

Both Johnny Damon and Jorge Posada are out of the lineup tonight. Posada is going to have an MRI tomorrow and Johnny was quoted earlier last week as saying "only a serious injury would keep me out of this series."
Yeah, it's that kind of year. BTW Jaret Wright may miss his next start with a groin problem.
