turn check/ river raise. I dunno, wtf? I suck at poker

playing a decent 20/40 6max game after some hiatus.

villain is poetmagician, a multitabling TAG (probably one of you clowns) this hand took a few weeks ago and I didnt have any stats but villain seemed like a solid TAG from the few hands I'd seen.

game was 5 handed.

I open Ah 9h utg, folded to the bb who calls.

flop is A K 9 r w/ none of my suit

he check/calls.

turn is another K, completing said rainbow.

he checks, I check behind.

river is a 9.

he bets, I raise...

ok so far? turn check good? river raise ok?

been thinking about this for a while.

I like the way you played this hand a lot. It's interesting too. The river raise might be close, but I like it. Can we fold to a 3bet?

If we cannot fold to a 3-bet I do not like the raise.

Against poetmagician easy fold to 3-bet

I dont mind the turn check. And I would only raise this river, if you can easily fold to a 3bet cuz that will mean this guy always has you beat, and he will always call with Ax or 9x. If these conditions were not met, then I would just call the river.
