Default KJ suited VS. A9 offsuit

Hi,

I was at the Casino the 2 nights ago playing 5/5NL. I was off to a good start, but my stack got eroded down to 120. On the final hand (hand I lost), I had KJ offsuit, in the position before the blind. Everyone folds before me, I bet $25. That leaves me with $95 in chips. Now the guy on the button, asks the dealer how much I had left, dealer said about $90. So raises 90 more.

Judging from his actions, I put him on an Ace with a low kicker so I go all in (5 dollars only anyway), and we show the cards, A9 offsuit versus KJ suited. Flop comes, none of us make a pair, no flush no straight draw for me. I lose.

Was that a really bad play? I basically got him to play heads up with me. He was however one of the 3 strongest players at the table.

Advice?

Thanks.
