AA too fast?
only 20 hands on the villian over which he's 22/15/6/46%. These are from a previouse session so pretty much no reads
no reads on Button Party Poker Limit Holdem Ring game Limit: $3/$6 6 players Converter Pre-flop: (6 players) hero is UTG with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] hero raises, UTG+1 folds, CO 3-bets, Button calls, 2 folds, hero caps, CO calls, Button calls. Flop: 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (13.33SB, 3 players) hero bets, CO raises, Button calls, hero 3-bets, CO calls, Button calls. Turn: 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (11.17BB, 3 players) hero bets, CO raises, Button folds, hero 3-bets? I can't think of any rational reason he didn't just cap the flop, is it a mistake to not just call down after the turn raise? |

Re: AA too fast?
He didn't cap the flop because he wanted to raise the turn.
He probably has TT or 99. Edit: But call down and beat KK. |

Re: AA too fast?
His AF is a little high. He could have an overpair. I just call his 2 bet and call down river.

Re: AA too fast?
Bet/call turn is standard. 3 betting would be over playing, without a read.

His AF is a little high. [/ QUOTE ] His sample size is 20 hands. You can't gauge that correctly on that sample size. |

[/ QUOTE ] right now, on the turn, he either has 99-tt, you are stroked or JJ-KK, you are stroking him, or dick, and he might fold(unlikely) the problem is, if you 3bet, and he caps, you are ahead never. and we know we won't fold, so just call down from the turn raise. It sure looks like a "going to [censored] you for a lot of money" line he takes |

Re: AA too fast?
yeah, it was the fact that the third guy was in there that made me think the lack of flop cap was fishy. He gets the same amount of money if Button calls another two as if I call one more turn BB. It made me think "huh? well, if he'll do that ... 3-bet." In retrospect, that's a stupid read and a calldown is correct, but I wanted to check.
