Yes, you need to raise more preflop. The standard is 4 big blinds + 1 big blind for every limper...so for yours, it would be $1.5 preflop. You also need to bet closer to the pot each round

Bet at least 1.50 on the flop, pot the turn, and check/call a reasonable river bet.

Also, do not mini-raise pre-flop, ever ever ever ever. Raise to £1/$1.25 there

As for the river, I like your blocking bet, but I'm not sure what to do in the face of a push. Suppose you're getting good enough pot odds to call though
